Heavy Inorganic Isotope Analysis
.jpg)
This section has the capacity to perform high precision isotope ratio analysis of a range of “heavy” element systems such as Mg, Ca, Cd, Sr, Nd-Sm and Pd using Thermal Ionisation Mass Spectrometry (TIMS). We can handle a diverse range of materials from waters, to rocks, to micro-fossils. Previous analyses have been applied to geological investigations (e.g. Strontium Isotope Stratigraphy); pollution studies; plant element uptake; and archaeological tracking.
We can analyse a wide range of geological materials such as; mineral separates; drill cuttings; whole rocks; residual salts; formation waters; and micro-fossils. All of which have been applied to reservoir geology nationally and internationally.

We work in partnership with ISOTOPIC Ltd. to deliver high precision radiogenic isotope analysis, primarily for the oil industry.
